There’s little that I can say about this app besides - It’s perfect. Finally, the ability to upload to Instagram from your Mac. Finally, a browser that is stunning and gorgeous, rock solid and never crashes. It has all the best features of any other Instagram app ever to come around, but does each one of them better and has a few features none have ever had. If they’d only make an iOS version (specifically for iPad since it’s got nothing now with the June 1st Instagram API update) the Instagram user would have every tool they could ever hope for across all their devices. Pro version through in app purchase seems pricy at $9.99, but I promise it’s worth it if you’ve ever wanted the ability to upload to Instagram from your Mac.

Flume’s layout and UI is simple, clean and easy to use. So far it works nicely with trackpad gestures, which is great. The one flaw I’ve encountered is that their preloaded username autofill window prevents a post from working: to successfully post you have to manually enter each whole username, rather than select it. But the developers are very responsive to email and helped me troubleshoot the issue, so I’m happy.

Honestly, this is the best app for people that like to check their instagram on their Macs. I used to use another app called Photodesk but have long since stopped using that one. I love Flume and the latest big update that came out with it. Before it was a little glitchy but now I can hardly notice any bugs. It is nice being able to finally upload pics to my Instagram from my Macbook. DM on Flume is a nice feature too. I love how you can switch between thumbail or single column feed. Overall, great app! Would recommend.

I was excited to try this app out. I even paid for pro features from the start. It did seem to be a little expensive but I do like helping the developers. I tried the app for a day. During this time I couldn’t upload a picture with my $10 profeatures. It was reviewed in several articles as a great app but I would have to disagree. I just don’t think it’s there yet. Not sure if it ever will be either with Instagrams API change. You can also use other accounts but it wouldn’t let activate any others than flickr.

I was super excited to see this app come across Product Hunt as I was looking for an Instagram desktop client. Once installed I was pleased by the interface and was pretty easy to navigate. I went to upload a photo though and the entire app crashed. I decided to pay the $9.99 in app upgrade purchase thinking that would a) fix the issue and b) that maybe uploading (or unlimited uploading) was only allowed with the PRO version. The app still continued to crash everytime I tried to upload an image. I sent in the report that prompted me everytime I re-opened and then sent an e-mail to their support line. I still haven’t heard from them (this was the morning of June 4, ’16). I probably wouldn’t even write a review like this except I rarely spend $9.99 on an app and when I do I expect it to work flawlessly, or at the very least be timely in their response.

This app looks nice but it is basically useless since I cannot upload a photo without the app crashing. Please fix!

I do not write reviews often, but this one sure did rate one. Very sleek app, smooth and easy to navigate with drag and drop photo saves. It’s compact, and the best feature is the full utilization of space. I would love to see this team work on more social media apps utilizing this same model.

this app is really nice for Instagram

Up till today i would have said rocks, but getting the email to rate it i opened it and it is having issues loading the feed:( Bad timing.

To get things out of the way, this app is amazing. You could easily charge a dollar just for the normal version. Praise aside, The scroll lag is almost unbearable, and sometimes tghe posts glitch, in that they dont disappear when scrolling, and that they obscure other posts. Keep it up!

Me and my friends have always wanted to use instagram on our computers easily with all the features (including DM) and we have found many solutions both on and off the App Store (things off such as running BlueStacs and having Instagram installed on there) and we have found this is the best by far because of its design, how simple it is to understand and use, the capibilities (everything the normal Instagram app on your mobile phone or tablet is able to do), and love it. This is definitly the best solution!

I was excited until I tried to drag and drop my photos to share my artwork. First I didn’t realize it had to be a square dimension, it quit immediately when I dropped a photo in to upload. Then I tried a smaller file size with square dimensions, and it kept quitting. Until that’s figured out I’ll have to use something else. Would be nice to be able to upload my work from the computer though, wish instagram would get on board with desktop usability instead!

The UI and features are nice, but the app is incredibly buggy. As in, every time I use it I encounter a bug and have to restart the app. It often fails to load older photos in the timeline as I scroll down. I’ve also seen instances where the wrong photo shows up in place of another (going to details shows the correct entry), and also a photo was duplicated for every single entry in the timeline. The only way to fix these was to restart the app.

i was very happy when isaw the update on this where you can now upload photos and vids however i found out that you can only upload on a limited basis and if you reached the max, it will ask you to upgrade to pro.

Love the app, but needs improvement. The app crashes when playing a video in the feed. The sound will continue playing even though you’ve exited out of that particular video and moved onto another video or photo. The only way to remedy this is to reboot the app. The app sometimes won’t refresh and gets stuck, won’t refresh up or down. I also wish there was some way to move between photos when you are in the individual view. Also wish there was a way to increase the type size when viewing the description. And I also wish there was a way to move the menu bar to the top rather than at the bottom. All that being said, it is a beautiful way to view your Instagram feed at all times in the floating window. Highly recommend, but wish it were better.

this is the best looking app for instagram and ive tried almost all of them except for the ones you have to pay. you wont be disappointed.
